Dr. Preeya Daya is an international consultant with extensive background and experience in inclusive systems, human resource management, and organizational behavior. She has worked with a range of organizations to improve race and gender equity and to examine, design, and implement the policies and systems needed to support it, and brings a particular sensitivity to the relationship between organizational systems and people’s lived experience. She is also an expert in designing and implementing strategic human resource management which drives high performance, employee engagement and job satisfaction, which collaboratively creates optimal human capital value for the organisations. Dr. Daya worked as a senior HR business partner in HR in South Africa and Europe for 10 years before joining the University of Cape Town as a Senior Lecturer in 2010. She currently works as a Senior or Associate Academic for 4 South African Business Schools and consults to a number of companies about how to create and sustain high performance.
